The stay in Das Falkenstein was beyond my expectation. The room was beautiful, well-furnished, with ample space. The location was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. They had so wonderful facilities. I didn't want to leave!

The hotel is a failure in all respects, although I took an apartment, which is the largest apartment available, but unfortunately I was shocked by the standard of the hotel and its drawback is that it allows dogs to enter the hotel. The smell of dogs is widespread and even in the room. To be honest, I regret staying in it.

Das Falkenstein is on the outskirts of Kaprun, so it would be most helpful to have a car, which I did. It's a traditional Austrian hotel with that style of decor. Everything was super clean, my single room was very comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the breakfast was plentiful (even fresh watermelon), farm fresh eggs (their own chickens, which I "visited" out back!). Free parking right out front with more across the street, where the scenic river rushed by. Staff was very nice and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
