Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

I was there for a week, the first part of my stay in the preffered tropical view wasn’t great I had maintenance and cleanliness issues. the preffered areas and breakfast restaurant was awesome. I then upgraded to indigo and it was a whole different level of service and luxury. The staff were extremely friendly and genuine and treated you like family. Shout out to Julio in the blue water grill and victor and Alex on the indigo rooftop. The best service I’ve ever had!

Absolutely beautiful property and very comfortable. Staff was incredible and not one person on the whole resort dropped the ball on anything. They sought to make things personal and strived to make our stay more memorable. Highly recommend for family vacation.

Another great stay at the Dreams Sapphire. This resort ticks so many boxes. It’s not overly large, easy to get around, lovely pool and beach, good food, awesome lobby bar, excellent drinks and lovely staff. It’s definitely showing it’s age in some areas of the resort.

Overall it was a good vacation. The staff at the property were very nice and helpful and went out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food was ok, definitely not a foodie resort. There are options so it was still easy to find something to eat and food was pretty much available all day. The beach was not very good. Way too much seaweed and garbage and the water was not the greatest but not the hotels fault I guess. I would definitely recommend this place for families, my kids loved the water slides and spent some time everyday there. Would go back for the right price for sure.

1. They tried to charge us for sheets we ruined from getting food poisoning from the room service. They tried to charge us $576. We had to challenge this. 2. The only good service here is the housekeeping. They are divine. 3. The food is bad. Unless you go to a restaurant which are first come first serve so it’s extremely hard to get in one, but even then it’s not great. 4. They are extremely racist and made our stay absolutely horrible. We had to prove we were vip to use a golf cart for transportation. They tried to claim regular residents don’t have access. We were constantly told different information by everyone. 5. We were not allowed to leave the resort with an Uber. We were attacked by a taxi driver rocks thrown at us. And no one cared. It was terffying. No one would help us after being ATTACKED. You are trapped at this resort. Do not stay here if you’re Black or brown. This is a horrible place. This is my 3rd dreams experience all of them great but now I will never go back. My travel agent has been notifying Hyatt but everyone beware don’t go here.

Time Share based resort. Not advertised as such. The pools, rooms and restaurants advertised were restricted to Time Share members only. Leaving non Time share people only 1 pool and limited room selection. We paid for a waterfront room and were told they were for timeshare guests only. We were not offered a refund for the cost difference. Room service didn’t show up on a couple of occasions. A couple cockroaches in room. Wait staff was wonderful, front desk staff not wonderful. Not worth the money at all!!
