Miami International Airport Hotel

Easy access from the Terminal E exit. Lots of dining options in the area. Also can re-enter the secure zone easily the next morning. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I always stay here for overnight layovers in Miami.

Vending machines all out of service. They could not assist with a forgotten toiletry. So basically it is airport prices for little things that would have been available anywhere else. Windows were covered with faded plexiglass. This a hotel that exists purely for convenience. They are not doing anything to encourage return visitors.

We arrived at 9:45pm. Had a difficult time finding the hotel from the airport. Most food options were closed. Signage in hotel stated that their restaurant was open till 11, but they closed it at 9pm with no explanation. Staff weren’t welcoming at the front desk. Didn’t even make eye contact. Hotel elevators and hallways were dirty and outdated. Vending machines were out of order. Room was clean, but bathroom plumbing was severely outdated and looked like a gym locker room. Shower would shoot scalding hot water out, periodically, which burned my back. The WORST part was the cleaning crew. They began knocking on our door at 8:30am. There were no “do not disturb” signs when we told them we were still in the room they proceeded to go into the room next to our and slam thing around and talk extra loud. They, then, banged on our door 4 more times throughout the morning, while I was on virtual work calls. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a hotel, to date.

The convenience to my next flt . First time guess and from the staff at checking was excellent. Room was clean . I needed a refrigerator and went to the front desk and it took very little time for the refrigerator to get to my room. Thx

Hotel was fine for what I needed, a place to stay for one night before an early morning flight as I was travelling with a lot of luggage and just wanted to be at the airport. The room was clean but the windows were so dirty on the outside you couldn’t see out of them. Aside from that, the emergency alarm system went off at 1am instructing everyone to exit through emergency exits which took you out of the airport. This was extremely disruptive as parents had to deal with screaming and crying kids. After about 5 mins of being outside, I went in to the front desk to see what was going on and the hotel staff were just sitting at the desk, totally unbothered. When I asked what happened they said it was a random test and I was free to go back to my room. While this was annoying to deal with in the middle of the night, the real frustration was that the staff seemed totally ambivalent to the fact that there were many people just waiting outside for instruction. I had to instruct the staff to send someone outside to tell the guests and families it was ok to come back in, and it was clear they hadn’t even considered that. Overall, it was fine for a night.

It was a very convenient overnight stay. The beds are comfortable. The staff was inviting and pleasant. The hotel is in need of a renovation. The bathroom was not clean enough. The thermostat also needs an upgrade.
