Replay Pool Villa Beachfront Samui

We stayed in a 2 bedroom pool villa. Lovely space and great view. It was a little tired, it’s of small things that need fixing. Back patio doors lock didn’t work initially, was fixed but remained temperamental. AC in our bedroom was very noisy. Safe was tiny - not big enough for an iPad. They requested a 3000 baht deposit in cash which they didn’t warn us about. Breakfast was very simple and repetitive. Nice propertyvand location, just needs a lot of TLC to improve.

Amazing place.... Staff in reception (Jigzy) was so helpful always smile ,Breakfasts lots to choice from Hotel not in city centre or can you walk have free shuttles into pier was ok can rent a motor bike is lot easier. Great if you want relax fantastic ocean view from my villa I plan go back next year and stay longer.

1 bed villa with private pool. Arrived early so I understood that they wouldnt let us in to our room, but instead they said we could wait in reception (a small room with not air con) 35 degrees outside and humidity of 90%. Instead we went to look around the villa area and saw that the room was vacant. We sat on the beach for 30 minutes and asked again if we could check in. Eventually they agreed to let us in. The pools weren’t so private, you were basically on show to anyone that walked passed. We asked to be moved to another room, 4 rooms later we were shown a room at in a higher location, so our privacy wasnt invaded. The website and in room catalogue states anyone staying in the villa has access to a complimentary mini bar throughout their stay. This wasn’t the case. In fact there wasnt a mini bar at all. They jus replenished bottles of water daily. The rooms and furniture looked tired. The edge of the bed had dirt marks going all around it. The bathtub / homemade jacuzzi let out a stench when switched on. The pool area was very small and the sun hardly hit the area. The reception staff had difficulties understanding English, some more then others. The complimentary shuttle bus to Chaweng beach was great and the drivers were polite and courteous. We were told we can have breakfast across the road near the residence part of the resort (the grass cafe) don’t go there. Food was awful, it was a sauna and food / drink left out in the heat.

We spend 9 days here. IPart of the relaxation and enjoyment of this holiday was because of the resort. The villas are as described. They are older but this does not detract from them. You have your own villa with spa, huge indoor spa bath (worth doing and waiting for 30 minutes for it to fill. Fits two people easily). Food is excellent. There is choices between the restaurant, room service and the family shop across the road. The pool is also very nice. I lost track of time and days. I also highly recommend the massages. I had bad back & shoulder pains. The cost of the massages are cheap and she worked out all my problems without being told what they were. If you go ask for "Pla". She has therapeutic hands. Hubby had massages from "Tum". Also good. They come to the room and they do wonders for aching muscles etc. We had three massages while there and came home with no sore back or neck. The mini bar is free. That included a bottle of white wine, a bottle of scotch, two beers and other drinks. They replace it every day if you use it. We don't drink so that might have been wasted on us but it was an option if we wanted it. I did get my own coffee, milk and sugar from the family store but that is because I drink a lot of coffee and we do this with every hotel we stay in. Taxis are cheap so the location is perfect to get around. I recommend going to the Festival Shopping Centre and going to the movies. Really good resort.

I would never reccomend these villas they are in disrepair mouldy and dirty .The pool is like a giant fish tank full of algie so you can not use it .The bedding and villa smelt mouldy and dirty and the bed had bed bugs it should not be advetised as a 4* i would say a 1* is better the photos are misleading and are not true .The manager was not helpful and the staff can only do what they can .The grounds was over grown the mosiqutos was a nightmare between the bed bugs and the mosquitos dont no what was worse the beach was disgusting never seen a beach so neglected and dirty in all my life the rubbish that had washed up and there was just no care they cleaned the little bit just by the villas but you look to your right all the way to half way down was dirty broken glass and where the other nice hotels and villas was is clean and clear .Dont book you can get alot better for your money then stayiing there .
