Wow! What a place! So quiet, serene and beautiful. Great accommodations...picture your own little gorgeous, romatice beach house with magnificient ocean views. Food was fantastic and the staff so warm and inviting and eager to help. We spent 2 nights here on our way to a liveaboard...could not have been more perfect! Beach/water was magnificent! Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay, it's a great place. We are so pleased we stayed here (it was recommended by a tour guide).
Really nice quirky bungalows with a gorgeous outdoor bathroom (no hot water).
The staff are great, very friendly, but the service was very slow. We ordered our meals in advance but it was still late. They were fully booked over Easter & we weren't in a hurry so it didn't affect us, but if you have a deadline you may be frustrated. The food is very good so worth the wait.
Next time we'll stay longer than one night!
I booked 3 nights at the resort, but ended up having to stay an extra night when our flights changed.
The staff are literally the best I have ever encountered, and I have visited many different hotels over the past 20 years.
They are so helpful, so friendly, so determined to ensure that guests have a great experience.
The food is delicious, the location is spectacular, the staff are incredible. I cannot recommend Coconut Garden Beach Resort more highly.
We will definitely be returning to stay there for a longer vacation in 2023.
Amazing: stunning view, stellar service and very peaceful

We enjoyed our stay at the Coconut Garden Beach Resort. After a couple trips away, we soon realized it was best just to stay at the Resort as many places were closed.
One thought. We are heavy water drinkers and noticed the need to refill the small water bottles. Not sure if Maumere has large water bottles, but if they do, putting a 5 gallon jug in each bungalow would be a great advantage to less plastic and less hassle for your staff. We were always asking for refills and felt it was a lot of extra work for the staff.
We highly recommend this resort for a laid back vaca away from the busier areas of Indonesia!
Very much enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The resort is a chilled place to be - directly on the beach with a terrific vista across the bay. The garden is well landscaped with some thoughtful touches. And our ‘hobbit’ beach huts were a hit with comfortable beds and a terrace with chairs or a hammock to while away the time or in our case snooze our afternoons away. The arrival process could do with a bit more attention or training. We arrived and were directed to the main reception and left to wait - for what no directions were given. But a simple ‘welcome’ and give us a few minutes to register you and bring you a welcome drink would have been sufficient. We very much enjoyed the evening dinners with good choices on the menu and the breakfasts were very good (especially the veggie fried noodles). Our last night was spoiled however by an all night party with music blasting from nearby to 5.30 in the morning. We had no sleep and were exhausted. The explanation the next day was that it was a holy communion celebration which would last three days. We were just glad we were moving on that day. Unfortunate - as this was outside the resort’s control but more presence by the manager (whoever he or she might be) might have helped to sooth some of the jarred nerves. Nonetheless the resort deserves 4 stars despite this. We would be happy to come back.
