Hotel Continental Frankfurt

There are ups and downs with this place the ups, most important thing for me was that the bed was really comfy and facilities worked well. Breakfast was ok, staff were very friendly. Downs, carpet looks like it's been there for far too long, the lift was broken so it was stairs to 5th floor, only 2 slice toaster for lots of people was a bit silly. Local area was very unsavoury looking but didn't get too hassled

Great location across the road from the Hauptbahnhof (main station). The staff are friendly and helpful. Some of the woodwork was in need of repainting but our room was large, airy, spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable which is much more important than chipped paint. The rooms are also very reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

I was Traveling from USA, and thought of staying here because its very close to the train station. However, once i entered to checkin, the receptionists were very very rude. They gave me such attitude and asked me to wait for several minutes because they were busy with their ‘work’. And then started taking other customers who came after me! I had a kid with me who was tired and we just wanted our room keys. After finally finding iur reservation which they couldnt find for further few minutes, they told us that the elevator is not working and we were expected to take our luggage and stroller to the 3rd floor ourselves. When we entered the room, the room had mud spots everywhere and smelled of animal waste or pee. It was a horrible experience overall. The breakfast was stale and they added too much water in their juices to increase the quantity, ridiculous!!

Location was great, right across from the main train terminal. The hotel is located on a very busy street. Very noisy. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room not facing the street. Rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable, bathroom was clean and roomy, breakfast was very convenient. Very good hotel, just noisy

Rooms and breakfast perfectly acceptable, good thing as I bought 8 nights unseen.TV didn’t work despite many days’ effort by staff to fix it, but all channels were in Germany anyway. Staff including manager seemed stressed by small malfunctions but were friendly. Convenient to railway station for day rail trips to surrounding interesting cities like Koblenz, Worms.

The property is located verry well, thats probably the only reason that would bring you to it. The noise level on Sat night is behind tolerance although we got a room not facing street. Breakfast was fair, room was not cleanest but was tolerable for shor stay.
